Are Voters Ready for Prime Minister Biden? - WSJ

The biggest indicator, however, is that at this late date no one knows what Mr. Biden truly stands for—and, more important, no one cares. It’s now widely accepted that his administration will be the plaything of jostling Democratic special interests.

A remarkably astute set of analysis.

The other lesson is that, despite improved aesthetics, the day-to-day running of a Biden administration would not be substantively better, and could be worse, than the Trump circus. Mr. Trump is terrible at his job, but at least he’s in charge. Voters know whom to blame for each erratic firing, each dumb tweet, each mercurial flip on policy.

Also true.

This is the point. Democrats didn’t pick Mr. Biden because he’s moderate, they picked him because he’s weak.
